Answers Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABA CDC EF GHI A

I kept my answers small and kept them nearA
Big questions bruised my mind but still I letB
Small answers be a bullwark to my fearA
-
The huge abstractions I kept from the lightC
Small things I handled and caressed and lovedD
I let the stars assume the whole of nightC
-
But the big answers clamoured to be moved Into my life Their great audacityE
Shouted to be acknowledged and believedF
-
Even when all small answers build up toG
Protection of my spirit still I hearH
Big answers striving for their overthrowI
-
And all the great conclusions coming nearA
