Seated to the right of Satan
Come forth the biggest fool
Dashing against the wall of morality
With races to become a limelight
Gloating over the petty success
Forgetting the verses of humility
Beware before you get below the ladder

A rise as a result of happenstance
Or perhaps through tireless efforts
On these you've leveraged and high yourself
Severing your ties from friends
And classically defining your boundaries
Forgetting your comrades' efforts
With which you rose to this very height

Perception changing with the hands of the clock
Corrections got erased like an untold song
Lashing out words that are pain in the neck,
Even at your predecessors.
You've bitten more than you can chew,
Yet, every stern warning,
Found its position on your deaf ears.

The day is still young
You had better put on your thinking cap
Before your peak is brought to its knees
For pride and progress are not on the same page
Not even in the dictionary.
