Pride Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDECF GHIJKHD LMNOPQR STKUC C

Seated to the right of SatanA
Come forth the biggest foolB
Dashing against the wall of moralityC
With races to become a limelightD
Gloating over the petty successE
Forgetting the verses of humilityC
Beware before you get below the ladderF
-
A rise as a result of happenstanceG
Or perhaps through tireless effortsH
On these you've leveraged and high yourselfI
Severing your ties from friendsJ
And classically defining your boundariesK
Forgetting your comrades' effortsH
With which you rose to this very heightD
-
Perception changing with the hands of the clockL
Corrections got erased like an untold songM
Lashing out words that are pain in the neckN
Even at your predecessorsO
You've bitten more than you can chewP
Yet every stern warningQ
Found its position on your deaf earsR
-
The day is still youngS
You had better put on your thinking capT
Before your peak is brought to its kneesK
For pride and progress are not on the same pageU
Not even in the dictionaryC
