One More Contradiction Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEFGHIDJFKL

Did I fulfill what I had to here on earthA
I was a guest in a house under white cloudsB
Where rivers flow and grasses renew themselvesC
So what if I were called if I was hardly awareD
The next time early I would search for wisdomE
I would not pretend I could be just like the othersF
Only evil and suffering come from thatG
Renouncing I would choose the fate of obedienceH
I would suppress my wolf's eye and greedy throatI
A resident of some cloister floating in the airD
With a view on the cities glowing belowJ
Or onto a stream a bridge and old cedarsF
I would give myself to one task onlyK
Which then however could not be accomplishedL
