On Prayer Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEFGHIJKL

You ask me how to pray to someone who is notA
All I know is that prayer constructs a velvet bridgeB
And walking it we are aloft as on a springboardC
Above landscapes the color of ripe goldD
Transformed by a magic stopping of the sunE
That bridge leads to the shore of ReversalF
Where everything is just the opposite and the word 'is'G
Unveils a meaning we hardly envisionedH
Notice I say we there every one separatelyI
Feels compassion for others entangled in the fleshJ
And knows that if there is no other shoreK
We will walk that aerial bridge all the sameL
