On Prayer Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis
Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEFGHIJKL| You ask me how to pray to someone who is not | A |
| All I know is that prayer constructs a velvet bridge | B |
| And walking it we are aloft as on a springboard | C |
| Above landscapes the color of ripe gold | D |
| Transformed by a magic stopping of the sun | E |
| That bridge leads to the shore of Reversal | F |
| Where everything is just the opposite and the word 'is' | G |
| Unveils a meaning we hardly envisioned | H |
| Notice I say we there every one separately | I |
| Feels compassion for others entangled in the flesh | J |
| And knows that if there is no other shore | K |
| We will walk that aerial bridge all the same | L |
