A grace that comes of duty done | D |
Thro' long years in her grateful sun | D |

Fit cause for pride lies in her past | E |

And all her old world atmosphere | F |
Hinting at Holland quaintly here | G |
With windmills turning in the breeze | H |
Wafted from her historic seas | H |
That knew the sails of venturers | H |
Long ere this pleasant land was hers | H |
- | |
The stone man's footprints graved in stone | I |
About her ancient rocks are known | I |

How men may wax and men may grow | K |
By wisely planned development | L |
To an estate of proud content | M |

So 'mid her rich lands of the south | N |
Cast from a burning mountain's mouth | N |
She grows her fruits and lives her life | O |
Remote from hectic city strife | O |
And who shall come to her wide sea | H |
Seeking her hospitality | H |
In this contented dame shall find | P |
A gracious lady calm and kind | P |
