The Wobblers Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AAABCCCB DDDBEEEB FFFBBBBB

When the scheming Fusion fewA
Sought to snare the Lib'ral crewA
It was plain for all to viewA
That they wobbledB
And when later in the dayC
They gave liberty awayC
One might very truly sayC
They were hobbledB
-
-
Later on in caucus metD
They were wont to fume and fretD
And 'tis hinted even yetD
That they squabbledB
It is said they fought and scratchedE
Till the Fusion scheme was hatchedE
Then their diff'rences were patchedE
Crudely cobbledB
-
-
Then the Commonwealth to robF
They put up the 'Finance' jobF
And 'twas patent to the mobF
They were nobbledB
Now their ev'ry word and actB
Ev'ry measure they enactB
Illustrates the dismal factB
They've been gobbledB
