The Cosinic Curve Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCBDCEF GCC HBIB JBD KLB MAAANOD

Callithumpus Kevin Kerr was a young astronomerA
Rich and handsome eligible sound and singleB
Somewhat absent as to mind and peculiarly inclinedC
To allow his love quest and his work to mingleB
'Jupiter ' said he 'and Mars all fixed and unfixed starsD
And their orbits mid the circular have tarriedC
There is nothing straight nor square in the heavens anywhereE
Which reminds me I should think of getting married 'F
-
Clementina Mumphin Moore was a modern girl who woreG
Slinky frocks and her slimming concentratedC
Thus her health was far from good but Matilda Mabel WoodC
Was circular in shape cats said 'inflated '-
Both these girls the thick and thin were most interested inH
Callithumpus Kevin Kerr who so auterelyB
Walked with face turned to the sky each one rolled a roguish eyeI
'With view above ' for each one loved him dearlyB
-
Callithumpus Kerr one day went a mumbling on his wayJ
And both maids watched him as he conned his tableB
'Jupiter the Moon and Mars all the fixed and unfixed starsD
Are circular in shape why hello Mabel '-
Clementina oh so slim was invisible to himK
But he gazed at Mabel as he thought of SaturnL
Then he said quite suddenly 'Mabel Will you marry meB
For an astronomer you're just the pattern '-
-
Thro' a crevice in the floor Clementina Mumphin MooreM
Slipped and no one ever heard of her thereafterA
Mabel wed her clever Kerr and their home so friends averA
Is a place of curves and meals and happy laughterA
Girls Be warned in time because certain universal lawsN
Rule creation and you may not monkey with 'emO
Mold yourselves upon old mars and the fixed and unfixed starsD
For slim and slinky girls 'ain't got no rhythm '-
