The Bush Fire Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCCB ADEED AFEEF GHEEH AIEEI AJGGJ

Let's have a tiny little bush fireA
It's a cold cold night tonightB
We are sick of this long sessionC
Of the darkness of depressionC
And a fire would make things brightB
-
-
Just a teeny weeny little bushfireA
It's easily controlledD
We can sit around and watch itE
If it spreads we'll simply scotch itE
But we must keep out the coldD
-
-
Oh let's have the smallest little bush fireA
It's a fair thing in this stormF
There are plenty here to fight itE
So just strike a match and light itE
Ah Now we'll all get warmF
-
-
Hey Watch there The blooming thing is spreadingG
Don't let it catch those treesH
Now that clump of scrub has caught itE
Well who ever would have thought itE
There's a change too in the breezeH
-
-
It was only just a tiny little bushfireA
But it's leaping roaring nowI
And we can't hope to defeat itE
Better grab your traps and beat itE
For we must get out somehowI
-
-
It was only just a harmless little bushfireA
But gosh How it did burnJ
Now the old homestead is blazingG
Well it's certainly amazingG
But a man must live and learnJ
