Blimey Ain't it gittin' toughA
Life gits 'arder day by dayB
First a bloke ain't got enoughA
Words for wot 'e wants to sayB
Then some nark with nix to doC
Cuts vocab'laries in twoC
-
'Ow can coots ixpress their soulsD
Many a noble song is sungE
By crook lips an' music rollsD

Many a word o' wisdom's spokeF

Young kids' minds 'ad best be sownG
With some dinkum slabs of speechH
