Rhyme Scheme: ABABCC DEDDFF GHGHCC IJIJKK

Now children in this Lesson TwoA
Briefly we'll make some mentionB
Of party just in case that youA
Some day with the intentionB
Of furthering ambitions grandC
May seek to serve your native landC
-
You join a Party first of allD
This move is most essentialE
Your Private Views you must recallD
They're quite unconsequentialD
For if you'd be a Party ManF
You must cleave to the Party PlanF
-
Either you must be Black or WhiteG
Browns Drabs and Greys don't matterH
If you choose White White's always rightG
If Black then with the latterH
Rests all Wisdom in the LandC
You've got to Barrack for your BrandC
-
But children there's a chance you mayI
With Obstinate PersistenceJ
Incline to Fawn or Cream or GreyI
Then you can't Make the DistanceJ
You'll keep your Soul but I'm afraidK
You'll have to learn some Nicer TradeK
