Our Cow Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCBDEFE GEHEIBJB KLMLNBBB

Down by the slipralls stands our cowA
Chewing chewing chewingB
She does not care what folks out thereC
In the great big world are doingB
She sees the small cloud shadows passD
And green grass shining underE
If she does think what does she thinkF
About it all I wonderE
-
She sees the swallows skimming byG
Above the sweet young cloverE
The light reeds swaying in the windH
And tall trees bending overE
Far down the track she hears the crackI
of bullock whips and ravingB
Of angry men where in the sunJ
Her fellow beasts are slavingB
-
Girls we are told can scratch and scoldK
And boys will fight and wrangleL
And big grown men just now and thenM
Fret o'er some fingle fangleL
Vexing the earth with grief or mirthN
Longing rejoicing rueingB
But by the slipralls stands our cowB
ChewingB
