One Dull Man Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABBCCDDEEFFGA AAHHIIJJKKLLMMGGAANA AAOA

Why did you play your spade in there said sheA
I can't think why you don't take care said sheA
You fuss and fiddle with every cardB
As tho' you found the game too hardB
You hung on to your trumps untilC
They caught you napping Really WillC
You think and hesitate so longD
Then in the end you play it wrongD
Why you can't even call your handE
You men I cannot understandE
You are so stupid dull and denseF
The game requires just common senseF
But Bridge for you holds little gainG
Yet you're supposed to have a brain said sheA
-
Tired You I hope I am no cat said sheA
But I must say I do like that said sheA
What about me You go to townH
And gossip there with Smith and BrownH
And go to lunch and have a drinkI
Yet in the evening you can't thinkI
What about me Your life's the bestJ
Why should you crave for so much restJ
Ask any doctor He will sayK
A business man should always playK
You should play more You know you shouldL
A change of occupation's goodL
Yet when I ask you to go outM
You say you're tired and moon aboutM
What about me Do I complainG
Why it's a wonder I keep saneG
With all the dull monotonyA
That this existence holds for meA
You'll tell me that I'm lazy soonN
Why I played all the afternoon said sheA
-
Did you my dear I didn't know said heA
Well I suppose I must be slow said heA
Yes slow and dull Again you're rightO
You always are Heigh ho Good night said heA
