Aw chuck the mail bags over thereA
It's great to have 'em brought by airA
But now they're here just sling 'em roundB
Out anywhere upon the groundB
I'll pick 'em up an' make full speedC
Soon as me 'orse 'as 'as a feedC
Delays don't count in this fair climeD
This is the land o' LotsertimeD
-
I 'ear 'ow Europe's gone fair madE
On speed But I'm like my ole dadE
The things a man don't do todayF
He does termorrer anywayF
So wot's the odds This speed's all tripeG
Wait on until I light me pipeG
A spell for yarnin' ain't no crimeD
This is the land o' LotsertimeD
-
The Melbourne cockies they don't careA
There's always 'eaps o' time to spareA
They ain't air minded like yous blokesH
From Europe or them Yankee folksH
Why should we be when all is saidI
When coves dies they're a long time deadI
Why worry while the crops is primeD
This is the land o' LotsertimeD
-
So sling the mail bags over 'ereA
I'll fill me pipe again an' clearA
I hold one record 't any rateJ
I always gets there soon or lateJ
The mail gets thro' dry stage or wetK
An' fire or flood ain't beat me yetK
Our troubles 'ow speed records climbD
In this 'ere land o' LotsertimeD
