Hoch Der Hausfrau! Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCBADAD AEFEGHGH AAEAAIAI

Back to the kicthen mein GretchenA
Back to the scullery frauB
You have dreamed your brief hour of a matriarch's pow'rC
But it's dishes and drudgery nowB
Your head bent in humble submissionA
Your back for the masculine flailD
Speak softly and know your positionA
Meek slave of the dominant maleD
-
Back to the kicthen mein frauleinA
Back to the post and the pansE
To that menial place marked for you in the raceF
This earth and its glories are Man'sE
Seek you a strong master my daughterG
And serve him yet be not appalledH
But give him stout sons for the slaughterG
When more cannon fodder is calledH
-
Hausfrau Hark you back to the kitchenA
Your visions of glory are vainA
The old Teuton gods count you chattels and clodsE
And the Blond Beast has risen againA
Your masters with arrogance drunkenA
Have brought your ambitions to wreckI
Your glories are spurlos versunkenA
Ach Woman Our heel on her neckI
