That's him The authentic identical beastA
The Unionist tiger full brother to 'Sosh'B
I know by the prowl of himC
Hark to the growl of himC
While all the people ejaculate 'GoshB
Just look at him glarin' an' starin' by thunderD
Now each for himself and the weakest goes under 'E
-
-
Beware this injurious furious bruteF
He's ready to rend you with tooth and with clawG
Though 'tis incredibleH
Anything edibleH
Disappears suddenly into his mawG
Into his cavernous inner interiorD
Vanishes ev'rything strictly superiorD
-
-
My dears I've autoptical optical proofI
That he's prowling and growling at large in the landJ
Hear his pestiferousK
Clamor vociferousK
Urging to war his belligerent bandJ
Talk about Circe and who's this UlyssesK
Never was monster so monstrous as this isK
-
-
I've watched this abdomenous omnious shapeL
Abroad in the land while the nation has sleptM
Marked his satanicalH
Methods tyrannicalH
Rigorous vigorous vigil I keptM
He has wicked designs on all right thinking peopleH
Proclaim it aloud from the housetop and steepleH
-
-
He lays his corrodible odible plansK
While cutely disguising his ultimate claimsK
Into your auricleH
Words oratoricalH
He will declaim with ulterior aimsK
And if as a foe he should happen to spot usK
One gulp and his great epiglottis has got usK
-
-
The tremulous emulous workers he snaresK
By most reprehensible tensible schemesK
Slyly insidiousK
Vilely invidiousK
Are his designs to encourage their dreamsK
But watch when they're under his dominant digitN
His finical cynical smile as they fidgetO
-
-
The shockingly punitive unitive meansK
He uses to battle with enterprise privateN
Are indefensibleH
Quite reprehensibleH
Lord only knows what at last he'll arrive atP
And when he has swallowed the whole of the nationQ
He'll probably start on self assimilationQ
-
-
He scoffs at convenient lenient lawsK
He'd scoff every toff in the House known as UpperD
If he'd a precedentR
Every residentR
In the best suburb would serve him for supperD
Good gravious voracious is hardly the name for itO
Yet we have only our blindness to blame for itO
-
-
For mark his insidious hideous creedS
He propagates even 'mid grocers and drapersK
And they give ear to itO
Bow and adhere to itO
'Spite all the capers of well informed papersK
For e'en with the aid of an lens omphalopticT
They can't see the glare in his obdurate opticT
-
-
Then 'ware this obstreperous leperous beastA
A treacherous wretch for I know him of oldU
I'm on th etrack of himC
Close at the back of himC
Tight on his tail I have taken a holdU
And if I gave over my earnest endeavorD
The nation were lodged in his larynx for everD
-
-
It's him The authentic identical beastA
I know him 'The Unionist ' brother to 'Sosh'B
See how I'm holding himC
Nagging and scolding himC
While he is yearning his betters to squashB
Yearning and burning to snare the superiorD
Into his roomy and gloomy interiorD
