Good Friday Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCDCE FGFGHBHB

So we forget The streets bloom gayA
With festive garments many huedB
And man and maid laugh down the wayA
With all the joy of life imbuedB
Respite from toil surcease from careC
Lend gladness to a merry voiceD
As brother cries to brother thereC
'Let us rejoice 'E
-
Do we forget The garden bloomsF
Joy beckons from the sunlit hillG
Where now no triple shadow loomsF
To cast o'er all the earth a chillG
This day is made for carefree soulsH
For holiday For EastertideB
Yet thro' it all a bell still tollsH
For One Who diedB
