French Leave Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABCCB DDEFFE

No longer wilful woman hidesA
Behind a law that over ridesA
The dicta of her lawful lord and masterB
And they who fain would lift a handC
To erring wives now understandC
That they invite no subsequent disasterB
-
So be the boss in your own homeD
And should a naughty missus roamD
Unheeding let no fear of gaol unman youE
And in the good old fashioned wayF
Thrash her The law declares you mayF
he only question now a days is Can youE
