Look 'ere I'll bet a 'arf a crownA
To anythink you like to name said Bushy BillB
If country fellers went to townA
An' burnt a few big buildin's downA
An' quids an' quids went up in flame said Bushy BillB
Do you suppose by any chanceC
You'd put it down to ignoranceD
An' let 'em go their dilly wayE
To do the trick some other day Said Bushy BillB
No fear You'd take that crim'nal lotF
An' likely lynch 'em on the spotF
Fine sense of property you got said Bushy BillB
-
-
Yet city coves come up this wayE
Shootin' or goin' campin' out said Bushy BillB
But are they careful blokes Not theyE
An' when their camp fire gets awayE
They wonder what it's all about said Bushy BillB
They sling their matches round the placeG
An' carry on a fair disgraceG
Wise coots they are all in the knowH
Who reckons country coves is slow said Bushy BillB
But when two hundred thousand quidI
Goes up they dunno wot they didI
They can't think 'ow that green scrub caughtF
They never knoo They never thoughtJ
Look 'ere IT'S TIME YOUS BLOKES WAS TAUGHT said Bushy BillB
