Dust Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABBCDECECFCEGFCECCC

I'm not trying to make this thing rhymeA
But at the same timeA
A little interlude like thisB
Is not amissB
We interviewed a Mayor and asked gently 'DostC
Think my lord that thy great city is a pleasant place wherein to dwell For ifD
not why not ' And he answered 'Dust 'E
JustC
'Dust 'E
He seemed perturbed Something was on his mind He could not talk He could notC
say one word exceptingF
JustC
'Dust 'E
We fear that the interview was a bit of a frost We wanted to ask him all sort ofG
things about markets and the letting of the Town Hall and jay walkingF
regulations but all he would answer was justC
'DUST 'E
And when outside into the street we wentC
We knew justC
What he meantC
