Dad On The Test Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABBCC DDEEFF GHH I JJKKLLAA

I reckon said Dad that the country's pestsA
Is this here wireless an' these here TestsA
Up to the house and around the doorB
Stretchin' their ears for to catch the scoreB
Leavin' the horses down in the cropC
Can you wonder that a farmer goes off popC
-
I'm yellin' at Jim or I'm cursin' at JoeD
All hours of the day but it ain't no goD
Leavin' their work and hangin' aroundE
When they think I'm down at the fallow groundE
Sneaking away when I start to rouseF
An' as soon as me back's turned back to the houseF
-
'Who got Wyatt Is Sutcliffe out '-
Wot do they care if I rave an' shoutG
Bribin' young Bill for to leave his jobH
To twiddle the switches an' twist the knobH
'Has he made his century Who's in now '-
And I bought that machine for the price of a cowI
-
There's a standin' crop an' the rain's not farJ
An' the price is rotten but there you areJ
As soon as these cricketin' games beginK
The farm goes dilly on listenin' inK
Not only the boys an' the harvester crewL
But Mum an' the girls gits dotty tooL
An' I reckon says Dad that a man's worst pestsA
Is this here wireless and these here TestsA
