Cosmic Comic Relief Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABACDEFFDE FGFGDHFFDH BIBIDEFFDE FJFJDHFFDH

Sadly sobbing sadly sobbingA
Rolls the restless wireless seaB
Where the wireless waves go bobbingA
Up and down so dolefullyC
And nothing there the gloom assailsD
Depression to undoE
Till some merry little staticF
In a manner most erraticF
Till statics dropp their little tailsD
And split themselves in twoE
-
Just to watch their comic wrigglingF
Moves the stratosphere to mirthG
And a giddy urge to gigglingF
Trails a titter round the earthG
When wireless humor flops and failsD
And nought can raise a laughH
Then some artful atmosphericF
Sends the other half hystericF
Gay atmospherics dropp their tailsD
And split themselves in halfH
-
Once again the world grows wearyB
Sadly superheterodyneI
Wax the wireless waves and drearyB
Doleful frequencies repineI
Until once more loud laughter hailsD
The comic cosmic crewE
As some little stunting staticF
Most absurdly acrobaticF
Till statics dropp their little tailsD
And split themselves in twoE
-
There is art in every anticF
So when sitting at your setJ
Rage no more with fury franticF
O'er the statics that you getJ
For far beyond your ken great galesD
Of laughter loud with cosmic chaffH
Hilarious and quite HomericF
Sounds as some impish atmosphericF
Calls on his crowd to dropp their tailsD
And split themselves in halfH
