Bird Song Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AAABCDE FFFGHHG IIIJKKJ GGALKML

CrowA
I detest the Carrion CrowA
He's a raven don't you knowA
He's a greedy glutton also and a ghoulB
And his sanctimonious cawC
Rubs my temper on the rawD
He's a demon and a most degraded fowlE
-
Blue WrenF
I admire the pert Blue wrenF
And his dainty little henF
Though she hasn't got a trace of blue upon herG
But she's pleasing and she's prettyH
And she sings a cheerful dittyH
While her husband is a gentleman of honourG
-
CuckooI
I despise the Pallid CuckooI
A disreputable crook whoI
Shirks her duties for a lazy life of easeJ
I abhor her mournful callK
Which is not a song at allK
But a cross between a whimper and a wheezeJ
-
KookaburraG
I suspect the KookaburraG
For his methods are not thoroughA
In his highly praised campaign against the snakesL
And the small birds one and allK
Curse him for a cannibalM
Though he certainly is cheerful when he wakesL
