A Bouquet Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABACDDDEEFFGGCC H A CCCCEEBB

Yes So we willA
Throw care awayB
If for no other reason than that 'twillA
Delight our brotherC
We'll gaily 'mooch' along in tram and trainD
And ever one of us will look in vainD
For weary laborers of brawn or brainD
There will not beE
Papers to go around Oh yes you'll seeE
Husbands will hurry home as if for lifeF
Gladly to read to each delighted wifeF
The little thingsG
That C J D so humorously singsG
All discord and all gloom we'll strive to smotherC
Rejoicing that we have so bright a brotherC
-
BungH
-
To which we replyA
-
Spurred by such praise we shall endeavourC
To some day write a thing that's really cleverC
But at the same time don't forget my brotherC
Even a scribe grows dull some time or otherC
And if at times this column waxes drearyE
Please realise that we sometimes grow wearyE
Even old Homer nods they sayB
We're in a rather nodding mood todayB
