| It protects and breaks at the same time | M |
| I ve forgotten how it is to love | N |

Poet's note: Sometimes we get hurt so much, it becomes a culture, meanwhile, we loose the ability to feel that innocence of just being in love. This poem speaks of a character that has been hurt so much and has lost the ability to dive childishly into love and just be in love.
