Sleeping On Horseback Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEFGGHIJF

We had rode long and were still far from the innA
My eyes grew dim for a moment I fell asleepB
Under my right arm the whip still dangledC
In my left hand the reins for an instant slackenedD
Suddenly I woke and turned to question my groomE
'We have gone a hundred paces since you fell asleep 'F
Body and spirit for a while had exchanged placeG
Swift and slow had turned to their contrariesG
For these few steps that my horse had carried meH
Had taken in my dream countless aeons of timeI
True indeed is that saying of Wise MenJ
'A hundred years are but a moment of sleep 'F
