Rain At Night Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEFGHIJKL MNGO

North of Solitary Mountain TempleA
and west of Chia PavilionB
the water's surface is flattenedC
by the wet feet of cloudsD
Early warblers dart and flutterE
squabbling amid warm treesF
around someone's house new swallowsG
peck mud for their nestsH
Wildflowers will soon flourishI
enough to overwhelm one's eyesJ
but now the shallow grassK
barely submerges a horse's hoovesL
-
I love the east lake mostM
I don't come this way often enoughN
in the shade of green willowsG
lies White Sand EmbankmentO
