Martin: Ein Schlemmer, dinierend in Crew, fand eine Maus im Ragout. Der Kellner sprach: Still, dieweil ich nicht will, dass auch andre sie wollen dazu.

No comment: I actually first learned this poem from Matilda by Roald Dahl when I was five, and immediately decided to memorize it. I did, and it still stays with me to this day! However, I was surprised to find that the writer has not been identified.
Friar Tux: Once of my favourites, second only to "Saint Dunstan, as the story goes..."
