Since we through war awhile must part | B |
Sweetheart and learn to lose | C |

On tubers stored in a better season | H |
Our honey and heaven | H |
Only our love can store such food | I |
Is this to make a god of absence | J |
A new born monster to steal our sustenance | J |

We cannot quite cast out lack and pain | K |
Let him remain what he may devour | L |
We can well spare | M |
He never can tap this the true vein | K |
I have no words to tell you what you were | L |
But when you are sad think Heaven could give no more | N |
