Morning After Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABACDDDDDEFEFEGHGH GIJIJKDJDLJLJMJMJMND JDJ

I walk through the front doorA
My mind is blankB
Not knowing what was done the night beforeA
And for the pain I have him to thankB
At least he got his scoreA
RightC
I head to the showerD
Undress and faced with a mirrorD
Was this all to prove powerD
What happened becomes clearerD
Just some cuts and bruises no need to be sourD
The water burnsE
Streams down raw cuts on my backF
I scrub and still your mark returnsE
I squeeze my eyes shut to only see blackF
Eyes open and the nightmare returnsE
I step out look at my reflectionG
Who s that girlH
Looking in my directionG
I squeeze my eyes shut to give it a whirlH
Eyes open to see no correctionG
I remember the first tear fallingI
How he dismantled my bodyJ
Soon I d be bawlingI
But I can t tell anybodyJ
I had plans todayK
So get your shit togetherD
My dad took off this FridayJ
So we could boat in such nice weatherD
I told myself I was fineL
And put a bathing suit on this bodyJ
That didn t even feel like mineL
My dad s face dropped when he saw meJ
Did a bear attack youM
He asked carefreeJ
because he knew that couldn't be trueM
But a monster had attacked meJ
And this I knewM
I smiled back and forced a fake laughN
I told him his clumsy daughterD
Had fallen from a treeJ
I said lets go to the waterD
No need to worryJ
