Come And Play In The Garden Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AAA BBB CCC DDD EEE AAA

LITTLE sister come awayA
And let us in the garden playA
For it is a pleasant dayA
-
On the grass plat let us sitB
Or if you please we'll play a bitB
And run about all over itB
-
But the fruit we will not pickC
For that would be a naughty trickC
And very likely make us sickC
-
Nor will we pluck the pretty flowersD
That grow about the beds and bowersD
Because you know they are not oursD
-
We'll take the daisies white and redE
Because mamma has often saidE
That we may gather then insteadE
-
And much I hope we always mayA
Our very dear mamma obeyA
And mind whatever she may sayA
