In windings of some old world dance | B |
The smiling couples cross and meet | A |
Join hands and then in line advance | B |
So to these fair old tunes of France | B |
Through all their maze of to and fro | C |
The light heeled numbers laughing go | C |
Retreat return and ere they flee | D |
One moment pause in panting row | C |
And seem to say Vos plaudite | A |
