Even the deaf'd feel the pain | B |
The blind would see darkness | C |
And the world would be equalized | D |
Every perception and notion neutralized | D |
But between the battle a lot changed | E |
It revived the substantial side of humanity | F |
Closeness of the family | F |
It created an ample control circle of time | G |
It wasn't just a war fought | H |
It was a war that taught | H |
It was a war that brought | H |
meaning to life | I |
It was a war that closed many eyes | J |
And opened much more | K |
It inflicted unforgettable pain | B |
And within which a new path was found | L |
The one that'd lead to victory | F |
Where everyone on the ground | L |
Would work together in harmony | F |
As the fallen find eternal peace | M |
The world was left in one piece | M |
The world would've a single face | N |

Poet's note: This poem is about the impact of the global pandemic, covid-19. The poem tries to address the significance of the pandemic to families and to the humanity. From the lockdown and quarantine measures put in place, families have had more time together and from this more families have been stabilized. The world at large came together to work relentlessly to fight the pandemic. The poem also empathises with those who lost their loved ones from this pandemic. "May the fallen find peace."
