The Way Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABAB CDCD EFEF ABAB

THERE is a magic pathway through the woodA
There is a current in the troubled streamB
A happy course to steer if one but couldA
A meaning to the dreamB
-
And some in love and some in dogma findC
The hint eternal as they kiss or prayD
Some through the crystal circle of the mindC
Discern the wayD
-
And some no hint no pattern of the wholeE
Nor star nor path nor channel can perceiveF
Attempt no answer to the questing soulE
And yet believeF
-
There is a magic pathway through the woodA
There is a current in the troubled streamB
A happy course to steer if one but couldA
A meaning to the dreamB
