If They Meant All They Said Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AAAA BBBB CCCC DDDD

Charm is a woman's strongest armA
My charwoman is full of charmA
I chose her not for strength of armA
But for her strange elusive charmA
-
And how tears heighten woman's powersB
My typist weeps for hours and hoursB
I took her for her weeping powersB
They so delight my business hoursB
-
A woman lives by intuitionC
Though my accountant shuns additionC
She has the rarest intuitionC
And I myself can do additionC
-
Timidity in girls is niceD
My cook is so afraid of miceD
Now you'll admit it's very niceD
To feel your cook's afraid of miceD
