Glory Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AAA BCDCEAFA GGG

I went to see old Susan GrayA
Whose soldier sons had marched awayA
And this is what she had to sayA
-
It isn't war I hate at allB
'Tis likely men must fightC
But oh these flags and uniformsD
It's them that isn't rightC
If war must come and come it doesE
To take our boys from playA
It isn't right to make it seemF
So beautiful and gayA
-
I left old Susan with a sighG
A famous band was marching byG
To make men glad they had to dieG
