Final Poem Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBAACCADEFDEF

The consciousness of my mortalityA
Which used to blind and limit all my lifeB
Weighs on me not since I have been your wifeB
Death is the price of our felicityA
And life eternal would not leave us freeA
To love each other thus setting aboveC
The grace of God a common human loveC
Untouched unthreatened by any heaven to beA
For who while waiting to be crowned a kingD
Can relish all the humble every dayE
Who but must hasten when she sets a goalF
For me I could not make our life a thingD
So wise so real so tender and so gayE
Had I this other care to save my soulF
