Evolution Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCCDDEEFFGGHH

Said Mr Jones inA
Women subject yourselves to menB
Nineteen Eleven heard him quoteC
They rule the world without the voteC
By Nineteen Twelve he would submitD
When all the women wanted itD
By Nineteen Thirteen looking glumE
He said that it was bound to comeE
This year I heard him say with prideF
No reasons on the other sideF
By Nineteen Fifteen he'll insistG
He's always been a suffragistG
And what is really stranger tooH
He'll think that what he says is trueH
