The Coach Of Life Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCD EFE GEH EIJK

Although her load is sometimes heavyA
The coach moves at an easy paceB
The dashing driver gray haired timeC
Drives on secure upon his boxD
-
At dawn we gaily climb aboard herE
We're ready for a crazy rideF
And scorning laziness and languorE
We shout 'Get on there Don't delay '-
-
But midday finds our courage waneG
We're shaken now and at this hourE
Both hills and dales inspire dreadH
We shout 'Hold on drive slower fool '-
-
The coach drives on just as beforeE
By eve we are used to itI
And doze as we attain our innJ
While Time just drives the horses onK
