The Atheist Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCB DEAB AFGG HIGG IAIG JAKG LKMG NOOG

Nor thou Habib nor I are gladA
when rosy limbs and sweat entwineB
But rapture drowns the sense and selfC
the wine the drawer of the wineB
-
And Him that planted first the grapeD
o podex in thy vault there dwellsE
A charm to make the member madA
And shake the marrow of the spineB
-
O member in thy stubborn strenghtA
a power avails on podex senseF
To boil the blood in breast and brainG
shudder the nreves incarnadineG
-
From me thou drawest pearly drinkH
and in its pourings both are drunkI
The Iman drives forth the drunken manG
from out the marble prayer shrineG
-
Blue Mushtari strove with red MirrikhI
which should be master of the nightA
But where is Mushtari where MirrikhI
when in the sky the sun doth shineG
-
Now El Qahar to Hazif givesJ
the worship unto poets dueA
But songs are nought and Music allK
what poet music may defineG
-
Allah's the atheist he ownsL
no Allah Sneer thou dullard churlK
The Sufi worships not but drinksM
being himself the all divineG
-
Come my Habib the roses blushN
the waters gleam the bulbul singsO
To pierce thy podex El Quahar'sO
urgent and and imminent designG
