Logos Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCDCDEFEFGG

Out of the night forth flamed a star mine ownA
Now seventy light years nearer as I urgeB
Constant my heart through the abyss unknownA
Its glory my sole guide while space surgeB
About me Seventy light yaers As I nearC
That gate of light that men call death its coldD
Pale gleam begins to pulse a throbbing sphereC
Systole and diastole of eager goldD
New life immortal wartmth of passion bleedE
Till night's black velvet burn to crimson HarkF
It is thy voice Thy word the secret seedE
Of rapture that admonishes the darkF
Swift By necessity most righteous drawnG
Hermes authentic augur of the dawnG
