Lo I lament Fallen is the sixfold StarA
Slain is AsarA
O twinned with me in the womb of NightB
O son of my bowels to the Lord of LightB
O man of mine that hast covered meC
From the shame of my virginityC
Where art thou Is it not Apep thy brotherA
The snake in my womb that am thy motherA
That hath slain thee by violence girt with guileD
And scattered thy limbs on the NileD
-
Lo I lament I have forged a whirling StarA
I seek AsarA
O Nepti sister Arise in the duskE
From thy chamber of mystery and muskE
Come with me though weary the wayF
To bring back his life to the rended clayF
See are not these the hands that woveG
Delight and these the arms that stroveG
With me And these the feet the thighsH
That were lovely in mine eyesH
-
Lo IO lament I gather in my carA
Thine head AsarA
And this is this not the trunk he rendedC
But oh oh oh the task transcendedC
Where is the holy idol that stoodC
For the god of thy queen's beatitudeC
Here is the tent but where is the poleI
Here is the body but where is the soulI
Nepti sister the work is undoneJ
For lack of the needed OneJ
-
Lo I lament There is no god so farA
As mine AsarA
There is no hope none in the corpse in the tombK
But these what are these that war in my wombK
There is vengeance and triumph at last of MaatC
In Ra Hoor Khut and in Hoor pa KraatC
Twins they shall rise being twins they are oneJ
The Lord of the Sword and the Son of the SunJ
Silence coeval colleague of the VoiceL
The plumes of Amoun rejoiceL
-
Lo I rejoice I heal the sanguine scarA
Of slain AsarA
I was the Past Nature the MotherA
He was the Present Man my brotherA
Look to the Future the Child oh paeanJ
The Child that is crowned in the Lion AeonJ
The sea dawns surge an billow and breakM
Beneath the scourge of the Star and the SnakeM
To my lord I have borne in my womb deep vaultedC
This babe for ever exaltedC
