The Morning Star Of Love Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEFGHI JKLMCNOF MPC QGRMMCSIG

My eyes glittered into the eyesA
Of thee who cast a spell on my heartB
They glanced each other with pleasureC
Upon hearing thy contralto voiceD
Or seeing thy sightE
Thy presence in allF
I smiled with passionG
Under the proximity of the roof we communicatedH
At last we settled our funny datingI
-
We watched not each other of fearJ
But overshadowed by the confidence of loveK
We albeit the impediments enhanced from outsidersL
Loved our dear selves innatelyM
Didn't they say we aren't fit to be dearerC
Bravo that we hearkened not unto themN
My love for thee exceeded the heights of the starsO
Which could not be succumbed to fallF
-
Aye our love was no fancyM
'Twas agapic as the natural world itselfP
We both couldn't say we loved each otherC
-
Balanced unto that timeQ
Not till when some other personG
In his calibration incomparable to mineR
Bewitched my thee to make her fed up with meM
Our love therein became fancyM
Thus fancy 'cause we were no longer dearerC
It went deep to my faithS
I thereafter realized the troth of the sayingI
The beginning of Trust is the end of DeceptionG

Poet's note: This poem is written to both appreciate and disappreciate the love between the poet and his lover. It is a sorrowful experience, when at last, the persona's lover betrays him and falls in love with another person. This poem is written in 2023, when I have to articulate my sad feeling over the broken relationship with my girlfriend. This poem serves as a reminiscence of our love.
