But what of being honest another asked | B |
I am gentle He yet professed | C |
No what anent honesty | D |
That shapes one's integrity | D |
He was again questioned | E |

Seeming to have the world by him accommodated | F |
No are you uncorrupted to them | G |
And corrigible to all men | H |
The other retorted | I |
What got I to do with corrigibility he queried | J |
For none could in any way be honest perpetually | D |
So we do have to compromise at times | K |

No no no that is wrong the other began | L |
Honesty is the best virtue | M |
In which all other virtues prevail | N |
The evidence of man's generosity | D |
For an honest man is an hundred times better | O |
Than a benevolent man in wonder | O |
He pays Peter in Paul's coin | P |
And steals from a man and do it a good to another | O |

What if the world were only generous | Q |
With no sign of honesty | D |
Would it stand it | R |
For it brings the worlds to a world | S |
And peoples to a people | T |
But many lack this golden efficacy of life | U |
Yes with it all other virtues prevail | N |
