To England At The Outbreak Of The Balkan War Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBCCBBCBDEBDE

A cloud has lowered that shall not soon pass o'erA
The world takes sides whether for impious aimsB
With Tyranny whose bloody toll enflamesB
A generous people to heroic warC
Whether with Freedom stretched in her own goreC
Whose pleading hands and suppliant distressB
Still offer hearts that thirst for RighteousnessB
A glorious cause to strike or perish forC
England which side is thine Thou hast had sonsB
Would shrink not from the choice however grimD
Were Justice trampled on and Courage downedE
Which will they be cravens or championsB
Oh if a doubt intrude remember himD
Whose death made Missolonghi holy groundE
