Sonnet Xvi Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABBCBCDEDEFF

Who shall invoke her who shall be her priestA
With single rites the common debt to payB
On some green headland fronting to the EastA
Our fairest boy shall kneel at break of dayB
Naked uplifting in a laden trayB
New milk and honey and sweet tinctured wineC
Not without twigs of clustering apple sprayB
To wreath a garland for Our Lady's shrineC
The morning planet poised above the seaD
Shall drop sweet influence through her drowsing lidE
Dew drenched his delicate virginityD
Shall scarce disturb the flowers he kneels amidE
That waked so lightly shall lift up their eyesF
Cushion his knees and nod between his thighsF
