Sonnet X Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis
Rhyme Scheme: ABBACDEAFGHIGF| A splendor flamelike born to be pursued | A |
| With palms extent for amorous charity | B |
| And eyes incensed with love for all they see | B |
| A wonder more to be adored than wooed | A |
| On whom the grace of conscious womanhood | C |
| Adorning every little thing she does | D |
| Sits like enchantment making glorious | E |
| A careless pose a casual attitude | A |
| Around her lovely shoulders mantle wise | F |
| Hath come the realm of those old fabulous queens | G |
| Whose storied loves are Art's rich heritage | H |
| To keep alive in this our latter age | I |
| That force that moving through sweet Beauty's means | G |
| Lifts up Man's soul to towering enterprise | F |
