Sonnet X Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBACDEAFGHIGF

A splendor flamelike born to be pursuedA
With palms extent for amorous charityB
And eyes incensed with love for all they seeB
A wonder more to be adored than wooedA
On whom the grace of conscious womanhoodC
Adorning every little thing she doesD
Sits like enchantment making gloriousE
A careless pose a casual attitudeA
Around her lovely shoulders mantle wiseF
Hath come the realm of those old fabulous queensG
Whose storied loves are Art's rich heritageH
To keep alive in this our latter ageI
That force that moving through sweet Beauty's meansG
Lifts up Man's soul to towering enterpriseF
