Sonnet Ii Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBACDDAEFGEFG

Her courts are by the flux of flaming waysA
Between the rivers and the illumined skyB
Whose fervid depths reverberate from on highB
Fierce lustres mingled in a fiery hazeA
They mark it inland blithe and fair of faceC
Her suitors follow guessing by the glareD
Beyond the hilltops in the evening airD
How bright the cressets at her portals blazeA
On the pure fronts Defeat ere many a dayE
Falls like the soot and dirt on city snowF
There hopes deferred lie sunk in piteous seamsG
Her paths are disillusion and decayE
With ruins piled and unapparent woeF
The graves of Beauty and the wreck of dreamsG
