Sonnet 03 Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCDCDEFGHHI

Why should you be astonished that my heartA
Plunged for so long in darkness and in dearthB
Should be revived by you and stir and startA
As by warm April now reviving EarthB
I am the field of undulating grassC
And you the gentle perfumed breath of SpringD
And all my lyric being when you passC
Is bowed and filled with sudden murmuringD
I asked you nothing and expected lessE
But with that deep impassioned tendernessF
Of one approaching what he most adoresG
I only wished to lose a little spaceH
All thought of my own life and in its placeH
To live and dream and have my joy in yoursI
