Resurgam Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABACDD

Exiled afar from youth and happy loveA
If Death should ravish my fond spirit henceB
I have no doubt but like a homing doveA
It would return to its dear residenceC
And through a thousand stars find out the roadD
Back into earthly flesh that was its loved abodeD
